The cave: The Ladder Glitch

Well I was loving this game up until I found this glitch. There seems to be no way to get out of it unless you want to start all the way from the start. :(

The Cave comes out this week on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, the Wii U, and PC. If you're having trouble, feel free to use this as a walkthrough. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy my gameplay of The Cave from Ron Gilbert and Double Fine!
